Principal - Natalie Mason

 

Natalie trained at Laine Theatre Arts, Epsom, Surrey on a three year Musical Theatre Course. On completing the course she gained her teaching qualifications from the Imperial society teachers of dancing, London and her musical theatre diploma. Natalie also gained Distinction in her Gold LAMDA examination.

 

She then went on to work as a dancer/singer on board a luxury cruise ship in the Mediterranean and North Africa. Natalie has since worked as a dancer/singer in Cameron Mackintosh’s ‘Hey Mr. Producer’ on board Norwegian Cruise lines, cruising Alaska and Mexico. She has also worked in Japan as a dancer on the Pacific Venus.

 

Theatre Credits include: The Prince’s Royal Gala at the Lyceum in London,

 

Look Before you Leap, Best Foot Forward, First You Dream at Epsom Playhouse,

 

Summer Season at the Marina Theatre Lowestoft and the Princess Theatre in Norfolk.

 

She also performed as a dancer in Stars in Concert-  Essen and Berlin, Germany - Directed by German producer, Bernard Kurtz. Cromer Seaside

 

Special and Christmas Seaside Special at the Pavillion Theatre, Cromer, Norfolk.

 

T.V. Credits Include: The Big Breakfast - Channel 4, Dream Team -Sky one, The Mag - Channel 5 and she has also appeared as a dancer for Sky Sports.

 

Natalie has performed in ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, ‘Puss in Boots’ and ‘Sleeping Beauty’ at the Connaught theatre, Worthing as chorus and dance captain.

 

Natalie is a qualified dance and drama instructor and has been teaching since the age of 19 and has taught many students aged from 3 - 19 years. She has experience teaching at primary & secondary schools as well as stage schools across the country.

 

She set up Genesis Theatre Arts in 2004 and teaches drama, dance and singing.  Genesis is a great way for children to gain confidence and express themselves in a positive environment. There are also opportunity’s to take drama exams from 5 years up which involves private coaching. Children are examined by the London academy of music and dramatic art.

 

Classes are held in South Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford, Essex.

 

The children have performed shows at the William de Ferrers Centre and have also enjoyed Easter and Summer workshops with special guest teachers. Genesis has also taken part in summer fetes and Christmas road shows around Essex.

 

The Genesis tot's class perform shows at champions manor hall twice a year. Children aged 5-16 years have performed summer shows at the Towngate theatre, Basildon. They now perform their summer production at the Cramphorn Theatre, Chelmsford each year.

 

Natalie holds a CRB and Chaperones licence and first aid certificate.
